Hubble Auditorium: University of Rochester

I was hired by Audio-Video Corporation to provide a visual representation of a new audio-visual upgrade being proposed. The U of R has it’s own aesthetics committee that gets involved when a renovations of an old room or lecture hall is proposed. I went on location to capture photos of the room. I was sent measurements of the room as well. I used an application called FSpy to calculate the angle and distance of the room. Then using that info, I used it in Blender to create the room and the AV gear being installed. The 3D walls, ceiling, and floor act as shadow catchers. I now can render this out and composite the 3D elements into the picture to create a believable image for the proposal and the aesthetics committee.
